Allison Lackey Barringer
I am Allison Barringer and I am from Lenoir, NC. I now live in Swannanoa,NC which is about 15 minutes from Asheville,NC. I love all genres of photography. I use a variety cameras, lighting and artistic talent. Before I was ever a photographer, I drew, painted and sculpted. I try to unite this in my work.
Currently I am working on a body of work consisting of macro photography. In the images you will see arachnids and arthropods. Their world is almost alien since it is seldom seen on such an enlarged scale. My work brings a scientific view and a feeling of awe.
I am always seeking new opportinities for portraits. I am very excited about taking on new clients in this area. I love being creative with locations and with the customers ideas and visions.
My nature and images that are just for fun are my way of relaxing and just having a good time.. I love the outdoors and the adventure it brings. I use my artistic tools for creating unique images for myself and clients.
